Hi from Nashville, TN! I never thought I’d say this, but I’m looking at today’s photos that I shot before I left and I’m actually wishing for some Texas weather right about now… A major cool front blew in right as we were getting into Nashville and I have been freezing my Texas butt off! It’s been in the 30s and 40s the entire time we’ve been here. For all of you that live up north, these temperatures are probably somewhat laughable, but for me this is dang cold!

Despite the chilly weather, I’ve been having a great time! Nashville is such a cool city. However, I did have to run into a Nordstrom here and grab a couple of extra coats because I was not fully prepared for this kind of cold. As you can see from this outfit, I haven’t exactly been sporting traditional fall/winter clothing. For all of my fellow Texans or anyone from another warmer climate, this outfit is perfect for you!

I just love the fall colors in this dress. The temperatures in Texas might not be quite cool enough to wear typical fall things just yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still look fall appropriate. I threw on my favorite cardigan over the top to add some more fall feels (plus it has been chillier in the mornings) and a pair of slip on booties that I’ve been wearing nonstop lately.
