A cool front has blown in, so Texas is for once actually feeling like winter. I was finally able to pull out some of my favorite coats and sweaters! Talk about exciting. This outfit is pretty simple, but it’s what I consider to be the quintessential casual winter outfit. Nothing says it’s wintertime like a cozy sweater, a warm coat, and corduroy pants.
I’m a sucker for a good sweater. One of my favorite spots to sweater shop is Gap, which is where I got this one. I love the colorful print—it just makes me want to curl up by a fire with a cup of hot cocoa. This sweater is currently on sale and comes in an array of color combos! One thing to note is that Gap sweaters oftentimes run a little small, so you might want to go a size up (I’m wearing a medium).
Besides sweaters, corduroy pants are another wintertime classic. I’ve always loved cords, so I was really excited to find this pair from Topshop. As y’all already know, Topshop is one of my go-to brands and burgundy is one of my very favorite colors, so these were just a must have for me. If you’re a little on the short side like me, you have to try on some Topshop pants!
Finishing off this look was as simple as throwing on this oh so soft coat, my over-the-knee boots, and this amazing black tassel bucket bag that I got for Christmas (also from Topshop, shocker I know). I also added a delicate pair of silver earrings and I was instantly winter-ready. Bring on the cold!
