I have tried on so. many. wedding. gowns. Like holy moly guys… This wedding planning stuff is no joke! Can I just get married already?! It’s so much fun but it’s a lot of extra work and a lot to keep up with. BUT we are slowly but surely crossing things off the *long* to-do list. Here’s the latest update:

-After trying on dozens of dresses (and having to basically get naked in front of random sales associates) I keep coming back to one of the very first ones I tried on. So, I’m putting a checkmark next to the dress!

-I’ve asked all of my bridesmaids except for one, but fingers crossed I’ll be getting that done tonight! Be sure to check my Instagram stories because I’m going to try to catch some of it on video.

-I was supposed to have a tasting with my catering company this month, but unfortunately we had to move it. The new plan is that I’m going to attend a big open house group tasting to try alllll the foods they make in February, then I’ll finalize my menu and have my private tasting in March. So freaking pumped!

-I chose my florist (she got 5/5 stars on WeddingWire, holla) and my color palette. I love flowers and have a Pinterest board devoted soley to all of my favorite blooms. I know exactly what kind of look I’m after, so that made finding a florist pretty easy. We just got in touch last week, so hopefully I’ll get to schedule a meeting with her soon and go over all of my ideas!

-I have an appointment to go look at table settings and other decorative items. I’m going to two different places and I think I’m going to vlog it so y’all can check out all of the different options with me!

-I have my engagement pictures scheduled and I just ordered some pretty dresses to wear in them today! I’m super excited because shooting with Austin is always a lot of fun. After that I’ll pick out some stationary and get my ‘Save The Date’ cards sent out.

Next up on the list is cake tastings (fingers crossed this happens sooner rather than later), choosing bridesmaids dresses, and finalizing my guest list. And probably 10,000 other things that I’m forgetting. Thank goodness for my wedding planners, my mom (she’s the real MVP), and WeddingWire!
