There’s nothing I love more for spring than a breezy dress. Here in Texas we’re already starting to feel the summer heat. This pleated chiffon trapeze dress from Nordstrom is just the thing to keep you cool and stylish! The lightweight, airy chiffon fabric combined with the pleats give it the perfect little swing.
This dress is covered in springy floral blooms in some of my favorite colors. It’s a beautiful mix of blush pink, bright blues and purples, with a pop of coral. The print has such a soft, romantic feel that reminds me of watercolors—making it perfect for day or night. Furthermore, it’s under $200 which isn’t bad if you’re looking to invest in a dress that you can wear all season long and into the summer.
I paired my watercolor dress with a pair of gray lace up heels. Lace up shoes are super on-trend right now and this pair is actually surprisingly comfortable. To tie in the gray from my shoes, I also threw on my favorite pewter handbag. For the finishing touches, I added a bright coral lipstick to bring out the coral in the dress.
