Can y’all believe that we are already at the end of January? It seems like just yesterday I was putting up a Christmas tree and wrapping presents. Luckily, we do have another holiday to look forward to… Valentine’s Day! Whether you have a significant other or not, as far as I’m concerned Valentine’s Day is another excuse to get dressed up.

A velvet jumpsuit is just the thing for a nice dinner, a night out with friends, or a party. The thing I love about jumpsuits is that they’re so chic and stylish, but also comfortable. The velvet definitely takes this one to the next level giving it a posh, upscale feel that’s appropriately festive. Throw on a little red lipstick and you’re Valentine’s Day ready!

I paired this jumpsuit with some black velvet sandals from Steve Madden. If you aren’t 100% sold on the velvet trend or if you’re absolutely obsessed with it (guilty!) then these shoes are for you! They’re a different way to incorporate this year’s hottest trend in a more subtle way, and the thick gold heel is oh-so-chic. I also threw on a sleek gold choker to compliment the gold in the heels. Get the look down below!
