Happy Monday guys! Notice anything different? The Trendy Tomboy got a little makeover this past weekend! I hope you guys are as obsessed as I am. I had some help bringing this design to life from my new friend and web designer Megan, of Lush Design Shop. We’ve been working together on this project since October and I’m so excited to finally be sharing it with all of you.

Towards the end of 2017 I really started thinking more and more about my blog as both a brand and a business. This redesign is just one of the many exciting new things I have planned for 2018. I’m hoping to put out even more content this year, including more videos on my YouTube channel and Instagram stories. I’ve also been learning to edit photos and videos on my own, and my photographer Brandon and I created a Lightroom preset together that I’ve been using for my latest photos, including the ones in today’s post—which brings me to this outfit.

I’ve decided that velvet culottes are basically just stylish sweatpants. These pants are seriously some of the comfiest things I’ve ever worn! Pair them with a soft, oversized sweater and you’ve got yourself a fashionable look with minimal effort and maximum comfort. Need another reason to be a fan of these floral trousers?
