It’s a well known fact that girls love Target. I’m just one of many. It is impossible for me to leave Target empty handed. I always go in with one or two things in mind that I need, but walk out with about fifty things that I didn’t need and end up not even buying what I came in for. It’s a struggle, and it seems to be an epidemic. I see memes about it so that must mean it’s a real thing, right? At least I’m not alone. Maybe I can find a support group.

Until I get the help that I clearly need, here’s why I’m obsessed with Target: it has everything that I love. Clothes, shoes, accessories, food, home decor, makeup… Need I say more? It’s basically a female utopia. Of all these glorious things though, I’d have to say the clothing is my favorite.

Sometimes I just need a little retail therapy. I love Target clothes because everything is always trendy and affordable. I can just roll up and buy something new without feeling too guilty or having to starve for the rest of the month. It can be hit or miss, but I definitely consider the items making up 3/4 of this outfit to be a ‘hit.’

Just a little retail merchandising 101, color is the number one thing that attracts consumers to certain things. When I think of fall, I think of rich tans and browns, dark red or burgundy, mustard yellow, navy blue, burnt orange, and olive green. This scarf is a combination of all of these colors, so buying it was a no brainer. This dress is a nice olive green, which works for a neutral during this time of year that’s a little more original than the tried and true grays and browns.

I’ve been looking for a brown fall hat and just happened upon this one. Hats can be pretty expensive, so I was thrilled when I saw the price tag. Only $16.99! Yes please. As I was checking out I had the realization that all of these items actually looked really good together. When I got everything home I added these fringed booties and one of my favorite brown handbags. Just like that, I had an outfit!

While all of these pieces do happen to go together well, what I really like about each of them is that they’re so versatile. Especially for the price! These are all pieces that I can wear lots of different ways throughout the season which just adds to their value. Moral of the story, you can’t go wrong with Target.
