Maxi dresses aren’t exactly anything new, but I’ve been seeing a lot of them this season. I’m definitely not complaining because a maxi dress is the easiest, most comfortable outfit around. They’re the perfect piece for both busy and lazy girls alike.

The thing I love about this maxi in particular is the feel of the fabric. This dress is made out of a lightweight gauze material that feels soft against the skinmaking it both comfortable and functional for warmer weather.

If you’re a fellow Texan, you know how hot it gets down here during the summer. This tends to turn some people off on maxi dresses, but rest assured this breathable fabric will keep you nice and cool. Furthermore, it doesn’t really wrinkle so you can throw it in your suitcase for a vacation and be good to go.

The other thing I wanted to mention about this summer maxi is how versatile it is. It’s casual enough for a daytime event, yet dressy enough for a date night depending on your accessories and how you do your hair and makeup. Lastly, this effortless dress is only $59! As always, I’ve got it all linked up down below.
