A clear spring day equals picnic weather! Austin and I have been coming to this park for a couple of years now to picnic, and now that spring has finally arrived we have been able to continue our tradition. I packed up a basket with some of our favorite picnic items (including my favorite local Austin beer, Liveoak Hefeweizen) and we were all set for a relaxing afternoon.

Even though we have been doing picnics for awhile now, I just recently decided to invest in a basket. This one is under $100 and complete with plates/utensils for two. It’s so handy and just so darn cute. If you are into picnic-ing, I highly recommend getting a basket. I also recently grabbed this plaid gray blanket from Target to use for picnics as well. It was only 15 bucks and plaid print screams classic picnic.

As for our outfits, Austin and I both kept things breezy and casual because here in Texas a spring day can get pretty toasty. I am obsessing over this little embroidered top from Madewell. It’s just under $100 and couldn’t be cuter! Pair it with denim shorts and some sneakers like I did for comfy look or dress it up with some jeans and wedges. Shop both of our outfits and our picnic gear down below!
