So how cool is this top? It’s Sachin + Babi, a line I discovered within the past year or so that has quickly become a favorite of mine. It’s a fairly new company first introduced in 2009 by Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia, a husband and wife team. How cute is that?! The two met while studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and later launched ANK International, a creative resource for embroidery and design.  They’re known for their elaborate textiles and embroideries used by the likes of big industry names such as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Alexander Wang, and more.

Sachin + Babi garments really emphasize varying textures, prints, and detailsall things that I am very fond of. They always have the coolest fabrics, many of which they design themselves. I love this line because every piece in their collection is always so unique. While I do always love a good basic, this is the kinda stuff that has always drawn me to fashion. It is worth noting that all of this is reflected in the price, but this is some really good quality clothing. This is one of those instances where you really do get what you pay for!

This top is just classic Sachin + Babi with the mix of colors and textures. Everything from the fuzzy fabric to the contrasting blue mesh to the zipper make this a one of a kind piece. Besides all of that, I also really like the way this top is cut. I typically like to pair something loose on the top with something tighter on the bottom (or vice versa), so the boxy fit paired nicely with this blue BCBG power skirt.

If you’ve never tried on a power skirt… You need to. They’re surprisingly really flattering! One thing to be aware of is that they need to fit really tightly in order to look right. You’ll most likely need a smaller size than you think (I wear an XS). I’ve had this one for awhile, so the closest match I could find is a longer version which I’ve linked up below.

Since this outfit is more high fashion looking, I had to wear these booties. They are probably the coolest pair of shoes I own, period. They’re furry AND metallic. What a combo. I completed the look with this iridescent blue pair of Kendra Scott earrings and my favorite gold handbag for a Sachin + Babi worthy look.
