Though summertime is generally associated with leisure and vacation, in reality it’s a usually a pretty busy time of year. First of all, it’s wedding season–and if you’re about my age then you’ll probably be attending a few. Plus, I feel like other events pop up during the summer months where a cute cocktail dress comes in handy.

With that being said, I also think that summertime is more casual. It can be tough to find a dress that has the perfect in between look to it. This rose printed, off-the-shoulder number is just the right amount of dressy without being over the top.
