How gorgeous is this romantic maxi dress? I know, I know… I post a lot of floral dresses. While I do love me a good floral print, surprisingly, the print is actually not what drew me to this dress for once—it was simply an added bonus. Rather, what really caught my eye was the way it was made.
In college (I was a fashion design major), I became well versed in the construction of garments. I learned all about the elements of design, different sewing techniques, fabric choices, and how all of these things together make up the value of a piece of clothing.
This dress retails for $168, and I’ll be honest; that’s more than what I normally spend. I typically focus on trendy, fast fashion pieces on here but every now and then I do think it’s nice to splurge on a well made garment like this one that I know is going to last.
It’s the little details that I believe set this floral frock apart from the rest; the delicate covered buttons in the back, the feminine hook and eyes down the neckline, and the flowy tiered skirt just to name a few. Furthermore, this dress is fully lined and fits like a glove. Grab one for yourself down below!
