Happy Friday my friends! I hope the new year is treating all of y’all well so far. To be honest, 2018 hasn’t started out quite as nicely for me as I’d hoped. It’s just been one thing after another this week. My car not starting (this happened on New Years Day and it still won’t start LOL @mylife) has probably been the icing on the cake. But hey, that’s life (specifically, adulthood).

Weird, unexpected, and annoying things just happen sometimes. And when they do, we all have two choices: we can either dwell on them and be angry, or we can shake them off, laugh, and focus on what’s good—like this outfit! I truly love everything that I post about on here, but I always have my favorites. This metallic top, black patent skirt, and these white booties have stolen my heart recently, and the good news is… They’re all super affordable! My top and my booties are both on sale, and this skirt is just 39 bucks.
