Only two more weeks until Christmas y’all! The month of December has just been flying by. When I was little I remember feeling like the countdown to Christmas went by so slowly. I always wanted to speed things up, but now that I’m older I find myself wishing things would slow down a little! Anyone else feel this way?!

The thing that hasn’t changed from when I was a kid to now, however, is how much I love the holiday season. One of my favorite things about Christmas is all of the festive clothing. When I think of the holidays, lots of glitz and glam comes to mind. I picture fancy red cocktail dresses, fur coats, and a smokey eye.

While this may be an accurate depiction of some people’s holiday celebration, honestly it’s not mine. Don’t get me wrong, I always enjoy an excuse to get that dressed up! And these types of outfits are lots of fun to think about. But, for me, Christmas is pretty casual. It typically involves lots of family time, food (hello, pie and mashed potatoes), and a church service.

As Christmas is quickly approaching, it hit me that this is might be the case for many of you guys too. So, when I found this paisley print dress I had to share it with y’all!
