The start of a new year always sparks a few changes. When Keith Kristofer Salon reached out to me about coming in for a haircut and color, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. In the spirit of the new year, I ended up cutting off about 4 inches of hair and adding in some trendy rose gold highlights.

I had decided to do the rose gold highlights kind of on a whim and I was a teensy bit nervous about it. I was also a little nervous about trusting someone new with my hairbut the minute I met my colorist, Kris, I knew I was in good hands. She talked to me about how she planned to achieve the look I wanted, and continued to talk me through what she was doing during the entire process.

After Kris was finished with my color, Lo took over for my haircut. I can honestly say that it was one of the best haircuts I have ever had. Like Kris, Lo also talked me through what she was doing and made sure I was liking everything. I was at the salon for about three hours total, so I spent quite a bit of time with Kris and Lo. Despite having just met them that day, they were both extremely easy and fun to talk to.

Overall, I had a great experience at Keith Kristofer and I will definitely be back! I’ve been looking for a go-to salon in Austin for awhile now, and I think I have finally found it. If you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, mention my name when you book your appointment and receive 25% off your first color service! Check out their website or call 512-233-1910 to book an appointment.

This post is getting pretty long, but it wouldn’t be complete without talking a little bit about my outfit. As per usual, everything (except my handbag) is from Topshop. This sweater is super soft and perfectly oversized and my jeans are loose in all the right places but snug where they need to be. And how cute are these studded booties? They’re under $100 and the neutral taupe/gray color goes with just about anything. Get the details down below, and don’t forget to check out Keith Kristofer to update your look for the new year. Happy Monday!
