I know I already professed my love for matching two piece sets in Monday’s post, but I just couldn’t resist sharing this one too. As per usual, it’s floral and the top is off-the-shoulder. Am I really this predictable? Honestly… Yes. BUT I am mixing it up a little with this fun maxi skirt.
Since I am on the shorter side (I’m 5’3), I have a hard time finding maxi skirts/dresses that are a wearable length. When paired with my favorite wedges, this skirt was the perfect length for me. The other thing that sold me on this skirt was the subtle yet sexy slit. It gives this skirt its flowy, romantic movement that I love. And, not to mention, it keeps your legs cool in warm weather.
As for the top, y’all know I all about the off-the-shoulder trend. I just think it’s so feminine and flattering! I will say though, the one thing I don’t like about OTS garments is how they always move around so much. I feel like I constantly have to adjust when I’m wearing something off-the-shoulder. It’s either falling down, popping up over my shoulders, or it’s twisted weird… But not this top. This is literally the first OTS top I’ve worn that stays in place! The elastic fits a little tighter around the shoulders keeping this top looking good throughout the day/night.
Lastly, like I touched on in my last post about two piece sets, the thing that I love most about them is how many different outfit options they can bring you. Both this top and skirt can either be worn together or as separates! Plus the top is currently on sale for less than $35, and the maxi skirt is just $58. Get the details down below!
