I sometimes think that I should go join the circus because I juggle so many things. I have two jobs, my blog, and up until just recently school (I graduate tomorrow, so pumped!). I’ve also got other life things that are important to me such as my relationship with Austin and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. If it sounds like a lot… It is.
In all of the craziness that is my life, staying productive throughout my day is really the only way for me to get everything done. Here are a few tips and tricks that I’ve learned and implemented into my life to help keep me on track.
1. Wake up
Getting up early every morning has been a game changer for me. Most days I am up by around 6:15 or at the latest 7:30 AM and I immediately start the hustlin’. Getting little things like emails and scheduling social media posts out of the way early makes the rest of my day that much more productive because I’m not having to play catch up. In turn, the latter part of my day can be reserved for *a little* leisure time (I’ll touch more on this later) and I can get to bed on time. Gotta get that 7-9 hours people!
2. Developing Systems/Schedules
Another way I like to stay productive and accomplish everything that is on my plate is by getting on a set schedule. I realize that things come up and sometimes you have to be flexible, BUT I think if you can set specific times for certain things (i.e. working out at the same time each day) and stick to it even just 75% of the time it will make your day run more smoothly.
3. Time Management
This one kind of goes without saying, but I have to include it. Every minute of every day I try to be doing something. If I ever have a window of time, I always ask myself how I can best use it. Sometimes the best usage of my time is to simply relax—which brings me to my next point.
4. Take a Break
Not gonna lie, this one can be hard for me… But I truly believe that taking a little break to relax at least a few times a week (once a day is best but it doesn’t always happen for me) actually helps with productivity. If I have had even just a small amount of time to myself I find that when I do get back to work I perform better. I like to listen to music, read, or watch a TV show for 30-45 minutes.
5. Get Organized
Get a planner/write things down. Make to-do lists. Keep your workspace clean (this one can be hard for me). Try them out and thank me later. The less chaotic your environment is, the better you’ll be able to function I promise.
These are all things that have worked for me, but I’d love to hear from you guys! What helps you stay productive?

I definitely find my day to be ten times more productive, when I start the day off with accomplishing something. I find if I stay in bed for a little while on social media, I get tired and don’t want to get out of bed

I am so not a morning person, but I also think that waking up early and trying to stick to a to-do list as much as possible helps my productivity! A good breakfast (if time allows) and some nice music in the background always a must 🙂 Thanks for visiting my little corner, beautiful, hope you have a great weekend!

I definitely need to utilise my spare time, some great tips! I must admit when I come home after work I’m not that productive!
These are such useful tips. Small things you do can improve how your day goes. It’s all about finding a system that works best for you!
