As a full time blogger and team of one (just me, myself, and I over here), there’s always something to be done. Some days my to-do list seems long and never ending. One thing I’ve started doing over the past year or so that’s helped my productivity tremendously is getting up early. Every day during the week I’m up by 6:00 AM at the latest to start my day. I normally hit the gym first thing, then I come back and shower, have my Nespresso coffee, and eat some breakfast then I get to straight to work. While I have more or less trained myself to be an early riser, there are a lot of days when I do wake up tired despite having gone to bed early the night before. Technically since I do make my own schedule, I could hit snooze or climb back into bed. However, I think having a routine is important to running my blog like a business – because that’s what it is. Lately, I’ve been relying on Nespresso’s new double espresso blends to get me going in the mornings!

The lifestyle of a blogger is pretty much go-go-go all the time, and even though I do get up early I definitely like to take things slow and enjoy my mornings. I do enough rushing around and hustling already, so the morning is the time I take for myself.
