I am always alllll about being comfy, but especially when it’s hot outside. And man has it been hot lately. The average daily temperature in Austin is a toasty 95 degrees… Gotta love that Texas heat. But these pull-on gingham shorts were made for warm summer weather! They’re perfectly breezy, comfortable, AND stylish. Don’t you just love pieces like that?

I know I sure do! And the other thing I love about these comfy shorts is that they’re just 50 bucks. And the fact that they have pockets is definitely another pro in my book. To keep the comfortable summery (and also afforable!) look going, I paired these shorts with a ruffled one shoulder crop top and espadrilles. I have everything linked up down below like always!

I also wanted to be sure and remind you guys that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming up. This is THE best sale y’all. I look forward to it every summer because it is seriously that good. If you haven’t shopped it before, Nordstrom releases a ton of new fall merchandise at a discounted price. It’s the best time to stock up on new things for the upcoming season. They have everything from clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, makeup… You name it, and it’s probably on sale.

If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder you can start shopping the sale early starting the 13th (this Thursday). If you don’t have a Nordstrom card—not to worry, you can start shopping too on the 21st. However, things do sell out so I highly recommend getting a Nordstrom card if you don’t already have one. You can also earn points on all of your purchases with it! I’ll be posting tons of round-ups and other fun things about the sale throughout the week so be sure to follow along here and on Instagram!
