If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I recently went on a road trip with my mom. One of the cities we stopped in was Savannah, Georgia which is where these photos (and the photos in yesterday’s post) were taken. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling throughout the years, but when we drove into Savannah I felt like I was entering a city that was made just for me.

I was literally in heaven. Around every corner, every turn, and every alleyway there were all of these beautiful “Rachel” things just waiting to be photographed. The part of the city where we were (the historic district) had a quaint, almost European type feel to it. Pretty much everything was in walking distance from our bed and breakfast, so we parked our car and didn’t use it once while we were there.

We stayed at the Hamilton-Turner Inn, which was a total dream. It was super cozy and I loved the decor. Plus, they serve a yummy breakfast, wine and cheese at 5:00 pm, and warm chocolate chip cookies every day at 8:00 pm. It doesn’t get much better than that! This bed and breakfast was one of those places that I fully intend to stay at again. It’s just that good. The only downer was that they didn’t have a designated area to park in, but we were able to find parking on a nearby street fairly easily.

I could go on and on about Savannah forever, but I’ll save the rest of my must-do’s for my travel guide that I’m working on for you guys and dedicate the rest of this post to this adorable floral poplin top. I bought this top specifically for our trip to Savannah because the romantic floral print and pastel color scheme pretty much personify the city. I said I felt like the city was made for me, right? Get the details down below, and be on the lookout for a more comprehensive Savannah, Georgia travel guide!
