Ok so first off, I’d like to begin by apologizing for this two week long hiatus I’ve been on. Balancing the blog and school is a bit of a challenge, and these first two weeks back at it have been a little rough. How I already have this much work this early in the school year is beyond me… I’m just going to go ahead and stop myself here though and spare you guys an entire post of just complaining about school. But, just because I haven’t posted in awhile doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking about the blog. I have some really big stuff coming soon that I can’t wait to share with y’all! Be sure to stay tuned. Hopefully I have kind of gotten into a routine now. Kind of. Maybe. We’ll see.

Now for this outfit. I am in love with these pants. I was out shopping at The Domain one night with Austin and wandered into a store called Altar’d State. I’d never been in there before so I just thought I’d check it out. Most of the stuff in there wasn’t really my style, but I did spot these pants. I didn’t try them on that night, but I couldn’t stop thinking about them… So the next time I was at the mall I made a beeline to them, tried them on, and bought them. I ended up wearing this outfit to my 22nd birthday party just last week, and got lots of compliments on my pants! They’re a fun piece to have in your closet, and I think they’re flattering on nearly any figure. Plus, they’re really comfortable. AND they’re on point with the 1970s trend, which if y’all hadn’t noticed already, I love.

I had already been planning to wear these pants for my birthday, and funny enough, my necklace and my earrings (which you can’t really see in the pictures, sorry) were birthday gifts that just happened to go really well. Both of those things just tied the entire outfit together and made it special.

All in all, I think it’s safe to say I’m feelin’ 22.
