New Years Eve is a great excuse for us girls to get dressed up. After all, it’s pretty much the biggest party of the year. It’s the one night when virtually everyone goes out for a nice dinner and drinks, or maybe even a party. No matter what your plans are though, finding the perfect thing to wear is simply a must.
When I think of New Years Eve, I always think sparkles and sequins. I love sparkly stuff just as much (ok maybe more) than the next guy, but if it isn’t done right it can leave you looking like a disco ball. I love this dress because it has just the right amount of sparkle. It’s fun and festive, yet elegant at the same time.
The temperatures have dropped here in Texas so it’s actually feeling like winter right now. It looks like this NYE is going to be a colder one. Another thing I typically associate with this fun time of year is fur. A fur coat or vest is the perfect way to stay warm during a night out without taking away from your chic New Years look.
I paired my subtly sequined dress with this posh white faux fur coat from BCBGeneration. It’s currently on sale for just $74 (originally $148!) and it also comes in a tan/brown color. I also added some stunner silver earrings, my favorite silver purse, and some burgundy pumps to mix things up. What are your plans for New Years Eve? And most importantly, what are you going to wear?!
