Besides pumpkins and colorful leaves, fall always means a few things: flannel shirts, sweaters, boots, and dark denim. All of these items are my staple pieces during this time of year because of they are all comfortable and versatile. Out of everything in my closet, these are the things that I reach for again and again when fall comes around. I’ve got my top picks for girls and guys linked up down below by category. Happy fall, y’all!
Flannel Shirts
Girl or guy, you can’t go wrong with a classic flannel shirt. You can wear one by itself like Austin did or layer them over a t-shirt or dress.

For the guys:
Neutral Sweaters
I love colorful sweaters too, but my neutrals are the ones that I wear the most. A classic neutral sweater will never go out of style, and is appropriate for everything from a date night to Thanksgiving with your significant other’s family.

For the guys:
Boots
Other than sneakers, I’d say boots are my favorite kind of shoes. They’re comfy but so chic at the same time, and there are so many different styles. Dress them up or down, wear them with jeans or a fall dress. Invest in a good pair and I promise they’ll be your most worn shoe this season.

For the guys:
Dark Denim
Dark denim can be worn year round, but I especially love it for fall and winter. It pairs nicely with my favorite seasonal colors such as burgundy, saffron, and various shades of brown.

Oh that first photo is sooo cute! I love your OTK boots and the neutral tones in your outfit. 🙂
Pretty details on your sweater dear! Also, I love how you paired your denim with long booties.
