I don’t know about you guys, but I am always looking for ways to combine comfort and style. Austin is such a casual city, and being a college student I am always busy. I’m constantly in need of easy, relaxed outfits that I can quickly slip on to run around in. The trick is making these types of outfits look chic… But how?

Ladies (and gents), I give you the sneaker trend. Nowadays, sneakers aren’t just for working out. They’ve made it to the runways and have quickly become the latest must-have shoe. This trend first popped up in 2015, but so far has had some serious staying power in 2016. Brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance and more have responded with athletic shoes that are as fashionable as they are functional.

These Nikes are no exception. The combination of the taupe suede and the metallic rose gold keeps these sneakers trendy, but the iconic Air-Sole heel makes them incredibly comfy. That’s a combo I just couldn’t pass up! I paired these cool kicks with a soft pink sweater, gray leggings, a metallic handbag, and sunglasses for the perfect casual-cute outfit.
