Austin’s birthday was last week, so per his request we went to Alamo Drafthouse to celebrate with dinner and a movie. We had some much needed relaxation time… These past few weeks have been filled with job searches and projects galore. Normally whenever we go to a movie I just wear a t-shirt because hey, it’s dark in there anyway and I like to be comfy! But since we were celebrating, I decided to go for something a little more festive. I still wanted to be comfortable so this worked out perfectly. Jean shorts are always an easy go-to, and I’ve had this crop top for awhile so I wanted to be sure and wear it before we got too far into the fall season. It’s really hot here in Texas so I feel like it’s still summer! This outfit kind of reminds me of Daisy Duke (who, by the way, I’m pretty sure wore crop tops year round) with a modern boho twist. The cropped button down is very Daisy-esque, but the knee high gladiators give it a definite boho flair. I kept my makeup light and fresh and wore my hair natural for an overall easy, casual look.
