The colors red and green are always closely related to Christmas. The stores are full of festive looking frocks that are appropriate for the holiday season. While many of these garments are pretty and fun, they can be a bit limiting. Honestly, what other time of year can you wear a green and red sequin dress?
If you’re looking for something a little more casual and versatile, look no further than this bohemian inspired dress from Target. Its red and green print gives it that Christmas feel that everyone is after right now, but it’s much more subtle. While it works great for Christmas, it could definitely be worn at other times throughout the year. Plus, it’s under $30!
Since I was going for a more casual boho look, I paired this dress with a fur vest. This one is actually made out of real rabbit fur, but like the dress it was also a bargain—and here’s why: it’s a girls size XL. If you normally wear a size extra small or small, you can save some serious money going this route. This real fur vest only retails at $185, which is less than some womens faux fur vests and only a fraction of what most real furs cost.
It’s no secret that the holidays are an expensive time, so save some money on your wardrobe where you can! Moral of the story? Saving some cash doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. Merry Christmas y’all!
